We are committed to understanding and managing the environmental, cultural and social impacts and opportunities of our proposed Burrup Hub growth projects. In April 2020, the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) accepted the Offshore Project Proposal (OPP) for Woodside’s Scarborough gas development.

Pluto Train 2
The brownfield expansion of Pluto LNG to include a second LNG Train (Pluto Train 2) would provide a clear pathway to the low-cost development of the Scarborough resources. Pluto LNG was originally designed to allow efficient brownfield development and third-party gas processing. An area for a second train was pre-prepared in 2007/2008.
