We are committed to working with Chevron Canada, First Nations, government and community stakeholders to progress the proposed Kitimat LNG Project.
The proposed development concept includes developing natural gas resources found in shale and tight rock formations in the Liard and Horn River Basins in north-east British Columbia.
Gas would be transported by the proposed 480 kilometre Pacific Trail Pipeline to a liquefaction and export facility at Bish Cove near the Port of Kitimat, 643 kilometres north of Vancouver.
The joint venture continues to focus on appraisal of the Liard Basin, generating a cost-competitive LNG solution at the Kitimat site and securing sufficient LNG sales commitments.
