"You do feel like you're part of something much bigger"

Meet Mel and Nic, who live in the Pilbara and work at our Karratha Gas Plant and Pluto LNG facilities. Find out what we're doing to make sure the Pilbara remains a great place to live, work and raise families.

The Pilbara is the heartbeat of Woodside’s operations. It’s a place we call home.

Much of our workforce already resides in the City of Karratha and Woodside is committed to transitioning to a predominantly residential operations workforce by the mid 2020s.   We want our people to be able to live where they work and build a strong team and community connection.  It’s the right approach for the community, for the well-being of our people and for ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation of our facilities.

And we are supporting the transition by investing in programs and partnerships that support the ongoing development of our vibrant City. Get to know our home better with the Karratha welcome pack
