Woodside recognises and respects your privacy, and this document indicates how we manage your personal information. In this regard, Woodside is committed to and is bound by the National Privacy Principles (NPP's) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
In general, we will only use your personal information for the purposes for which you have disclosed it to us. However we may also use or disclose your personal information where this is necessary to prevent a serious threat to health or safety, or it is required or authorised by law, or to enforce the law.

Information collected on our website

If, on our website, you request to receive information from Woodside, we will keep a record of your email address, and any other information you provide, for the purposes for which you provide that information. We will not disclose your personal information without your consent, unless required or authorised by law. If you are profiled or wish to be profiled to receive information about future work opportunities at Woodside, please refer to the specific privacy policy which is published as you submit that information to us.
 
Our website also invites applications for employment to be submitted via e-mail to recruitment@woodside.com.au or as per the instructions given for that position. Further to the information you provide in your application, information may also be collected from third parties (for example, former employers and insurers) for the purpose of considering you as a candidate for employment with Woodside. Should your application be unsuccessful we may keep your application and use it in considering you for other employment opportunities with Woodside.
