The Vincent oil project is scheduled to produce first oil in 2008.
 
Vincent was discovered in 1998 and is about 50km north-west of Exmouth, off North West Cape in Western Australia.
 
Vincent will be developed in phases, with an initial project cost of about US$720 million (A$1 billion).
 
It will produce about 100,000 barrels a day through eight production subsea wells connected to a floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO).
 
The vessel will have a storage capacity of 1.2 million barrels.
 
Location:  Approximately 50km north-west of Exmouth, Western Australia
Water depth:  ~ 350m
Permits:  WA-271-P; WA-28-L
Discovered:  1998
Ownership:  Woodside 60% (Operator)
Mitsui E&P Australia Pty Ltd. 40%
