Perseus-over-Goodwyn
The Perseus-over-Goodwyn project received final investment approval in December 2004 and will bring the Perseus field into production to fully utilise the Goodwyn platform's production capacity as it becomes available.
The Perseus field is an important long-term supplier of gas into the NWS Venture and represents about one third of the NWS Venture gas resources.
The project worth several hundred million dollars will establish a sub-sea infrastructure system tied back to the Goodwyn platform to access the majority of the remaining Perseus reserves.
The project's first phase involves the installation of three Perseus sub-sea wells, a Searipple sub-sea well, a new 22km sub-sea trunkline linking the wells to the Goodwyn platform and a new riser and modifications to the Goodwyn platform.
