Goodwyn
The $2 billion Goodwyn A platform is the single largest offshore oil and gas investment ever made in Australia.
Commissioned in 1995, the Goodwyn is connected to the condensate-rich Goodwyn gas field near the North Rankin A platform, about 135kms north-west of Karratha.
Hydrocarbons from the Goodwyn field are transferred via a subsea pipeline to North Rankin before being transported to Karratha for processing.
The Goodwyn platform was the second platform to be built by the Woodside-operated North West Shelf Venture.
It is designed for up to 30 production wells, including five re-injection wells. It accommodates 137 people.
