In 50 years, Woodside has grown from a pioneer oil and gas explorer to Australia's largest independent producer of oil and gas.

Our company owns and operates a number of world-class Australian-based oil and gas assets and our impressive portfolio continues to grow.

In 2007, Woodside's annual production of 70.6 million barrels of oil equivalent was underpinned by steady operations at the North West Shelf, and the commissioning of new projects at Enfield, Stybarrow and Otway.

In 2008, Woodside expects the start-up of several new projects including Vincent, Angel and the North West Shelf LNG Train 5 will further boost production from its Australian-based assets.

At the end of 2010, Woodside will operate six of Australia's seven LNG processing trains and it is planning further expansion as part of its goal to be a global leader in LNG production by 2015.
