Fish Monitoring Program
This plan outlines the way Woodside will implement a Fish Monitoring Program (FMP) at Scott Reef, approximately 430 kilometres north of Broome, Western Australia.
The FMP includes:
- Monitoring and reporting on the behaviour of tropical marine fish exposed to air gun emissions from the Maxima 3D MSS.
- Monitoring and reporting on any physiological impacts to the auditory and non-auditory tissues of tropical marine fish exposed to air gun emissions from the Maxima 3D MSS.
- Monitoring and reporting on any damage to and recovery of auditory hair cells of tropical marine fish exposed to air gun emissions from the Maxima 3D MSS;
- Monitoring and reporting on the hearing sensitivity of tropical marine fish exposed to air gun emissions from the Maxima 3D MSS; and
- Monitoring and reporting on any changes to fish diversity and abundance as a result of the Maxima 3D MSS.
