Adaptive Management Program
The Draft Adaptive Management Program (AMP) was approved by the Western Australian Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) prior to the commencement of Phase One Maxima 3D MSS.
The Draft AMP set out the way Woodside will:
- Monitor and report on the sound exposure levels, faunal mortality, possible coral damage and specific acoustic impacts to fish as a result of air gun emissions from Phase one of the survey; and
- Allow the development of defined and measurable trigger values and a framework of associated operational responses for the final AMP for Phase two of the survey.
Woodside submitted the Final AMP to the DEC after Phase One of the Maxima 3D MSS was completed. Phase Two of the Maxima 3D MSS was then able to commence two days after the submission of the Final AMP.
The Final AMP is available for download below.
