Environmental Protection Statement

This Environmental Protection Statement (EPS) presents findings and conclusions of an environmental impact assessment undertaken for the Maxima 3D MSS by Woodside at the direction of the WA Environmental Protection Authority (EPA).

This EPS was prepared in consultation with government agencies, marine science organisations and non-government interest groups before being submitted formally to the EPA for review and approval.

It identifies the potential impacts from the Maxima 3D MSS and associated mitigation and management measures that will be implemented to reduce potential impacts to an acceptable level.

The EPA completed their formal assessment of Maxima 3D MSS and advertised the recommended level of assessment (EPS) and the recommendations in an EPA Bulletin.

The final EPS is available for download below and a copy of the EPA Bulletin is available at http://www.epa.wa.gov.au/.
