Woodside’s functional and presentation currency changed to United States (US) dollars from the start of the 2010 financial year. As a result, dividends are declared in US dollars, commencing from the 2010 interim dividend.
Regardless of this change, shareholders will receive their dividend in Australian dollars unless their registered address is in the United Kingdom (UK) where they will continue to receive their dividends in UK pounds sterling or in the United States where they will receive their dividend in US dollars.
Shareholders who reside outside of the United States can elect to receive their dividend in US dollars. Shareholders must make an election to alter their dividend currency on or before the record date for the dividend by contacting the registry on 1300 558 507 (within Australia) or +61 3 9415 4632 (outside Australia).

The exchange rates used to convert the US dollar dividend payments into Australian dollars and UK pounds sterling are sourced from the Reserve Bank of Australia's website on the record date for the dividend.
