Over the last 56 years, Woodside has grown to become Australia's
largest independent producer of oil and gas. Today, we own and operate a
growing portfolio of world-class oil and gas assets.
In 2009, we achieved production of 80.9 million barrels of oil
equivalent, only marginally behind Woodside’s record production of 81.3
MMboe in 2008. This 2009 result was achieved with record annual LNG
production from the North West Shelf.
By the end of 2010, we will operate six of Australia's seven LNG
processing trains, with further expansion planned as part of our goal to
become a global leader in LNG production.
